COMPASS Towel & Sheet drive

COMPASS
SHEET & TOWEL DRIVE: Since 1982, Congregational Outreach Ministries Program of
Assistance & Social Service has been a partnership of over 20 area
churches, including WPC, and other groups. The offices are based in Broad
Street Presbyterian Church and the goal is prevention of homelessness by
helping people stay in their homes. COMPASS helps people meet acute and
immediate needs that cannot be resolved quickly by existing public programs.
Each January, WPC assists COMPASS by donating new or gently used sheets (any
size), blankets, towels and washcloths. This year these will be collected in
the Fellowship Hall on Sundays, January 22 and 29. As you are cleaning out the
linen closet or shopping the January white sales, please remember COMPASS.
Monetary donation are welcome.
