Holy Week and Easter 2018: Worthington Presbyterian Church
All are Welcome!
All are Welcome!
Our 2018 Lenten Theme is Fools for Love: When Ash Wednesday is also Valentine’s Day and Easter is also April Fool’s Day, we see that coincidence as a wonderful opportunity for our Lenten season: to explore love, especially unconditional love; to explore relationship promises, shaped by God’s promises for us; and to explore God’s foolishness, which the Apostle Paul described as wiser than human wisdom and was expressed in Christ’s crucifixion. The Bible has a favorite word that draws these themes together: that word is covenant. For Lent 2018, we will explore this word and what it means to be “Fools for Love” through worship, conversation and study, and mission opportunities. Spread the word, and join us!

Designed to follow the New Connections service, the program begins with a light buffet supper at 5:45 p.m. (free will offering), movie starting at 6:05 p.m., with discussion following. Led by Pastor Julia. See the complete listing, below.
